A look at what lies ahead: judgment
Introduction
In today’s program I’ll be doing a very important prophetic update that may be a bit longer than usual but you want to stay tuned until the very end. Momentous events are happening in the US and the rest of the world clearly announcing that the evil day prophesied in the Bible is nearly upon us. Evil is flaunting itself as has not been seen since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. The noise of the abominations of wicked men have reached unto heaven, and the cup of the wine of the wrath of God is almost full.
Today we’re going to analyze what’s happening from a biblical perspective. We’ll demonstrate from the Bible how God unfailingly performs judgment when the limit is reached. I’ll show you that the all of the forms of wickedness and transgression of this fallen world aren’t “just happening” randomly or arbitrarily, but they follow a biblical pattern. By connecting those dots – which are prophetic events – we’ll be able to see which dots – or which prophetic events – have yet to be fulfilled. This analysis will give us a clearer picture of how close we are to Jesus’ Second Coming. And finally we’ll talk about how to prepare for what’s coming.
The Fable of the Little Frog
I’d like to tell you the fable of the little French frog, and you’ll see how it relates to us. You probably know that the French like to eat frog’s legs. So a French housewife put a little frog into a pot filled with room-temperature water. The little frog was very happy, and allowed itself to be put in the pot. The French housewife turned up the heat underneath the pot, and slowly but surely the water got warm. Initially the little frog was enjoying the warmth and fell asleep. As the pot remained on the stove the temperature continued to rise and the little frog fell into a deep sleep, he was so comfortable! But then it got to the point where the water got very hot, and suddenly began to boil. Poor little frog! By the time it woke up from the shock of the extreme heat it couldn’t escape and was boiled to death.
This is exactly what’s happening with our country and this entire generation. We’ve been numbed to what’s going on through, greed, entertainment, and the cares of this life. Jesus said it this way in Mark 4:19: “the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in”.
Not only are we numb, but we’re also blind, which is part of our Laodicean condition. The last church on earth, represented by the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3, is blind, and doesn’t see her true spiritual condition. But the Laodicean church isn’t only blind to her spiritual condition. She also doesn’t see the writing on the wall.
Reaching the Limit
In every biblical example of God pouring out the cup of His wrath upon humanity, the wickedness of men crossed His limit and filled the cup of His wrath. God won’t visit judgment on any people until they’ve reached the limit. Let’s look at the proof, and as we analyze Genesis 15:13-14, and 16 I’ll be quoting loosely from the excellent bible commentary of Pastor John Piper of desiringgod.org about the Amorites. In this passage Abraham has fallen into a deep sleep and has a “nightmare” which is actually an uncomfortable vision that the Lord gave him because it announced that Abraham’s descendants would go through a period of suffering. And God says to Abraham, “Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge (the Lord is referring here to Egypt): and afterward shall they come out with great substance. … But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.”
Therefore the return of Israel to the Promised Land from Egypt would correspond with the “completion” of the iniquity of the Amorites. This is the meaning of the slaughter of the peoples of Canaan when Joshua finally led the Israelites into the Promised Land after 40 years of wandering in the desert. God timed the arrival of His judgment with the fullness of the sin to be judged. Not before. God does everything on time. The Lord was longsuffering with the Amorites and endured their idolatry and sins for centuries. But there comes a time when the sins of a people are “complete.” That is the time when God visits them with judgment.
The appointed instrument of God’s judgment against the Amorites was the army of Israel. But God sees Himself as the warrior behind the defeat of the Amorites. It was God who did the destroying. It was by the hand of Israel that the Amorites were destroyed, but it was the judgment of God.
Let’s now turn to another example of judgment in Genesis 6 where God’s cup of wrath was full: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it reprented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the Lord said I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth: both man and beast and the creeping thing; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Genesis 6:5-7). So the Lord unleashed the flood upon the earth and only 8 people, Noah and his family, were saved.
Regarding Sodom and Gomorrah the Lord said to Abraham and the two angels that came down with Him: “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous, I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it which is come unto me; and if not I will know” (Genesis 18: 20-21). This is followed by the beautiful passage where Abraham pleads with the Lord, interceding on behalf of the cities of the plain. But only Lot was found to be righteous in the two cities. So the angels escorted Lot and his family out and the Lord rained down fire and brimstone from heaven and totally destroyed the cities Sodom and Gomorrah. To this day only ashes remain there.
There’s another very interesting passage about judgment in Ezekiel 14 that we’ll consider now. Throughout the Book of Ezekiel the Lord complains bitterly to the prophet about the iniquity and transgression of Israel: they’ve worshipped idols, they’ve made their children walk through the fire as a sacrifice to demons masquerading as false gods, the prophets have become false prophets and have led God’s sheep astray. Let’s read: “Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it. Though these three men – Noah, Daniel and Job – were in it, they should deliver only but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God” (Ezekiel 14:13-14).
This passage is telling us that Israel, God’s bride, so crossed the limit that they placed themselves outside the boundaries even of pious intercession. The iniquity of Israel was so great that God would not have spared them even if these three holy men lived there. That’s serious wrath. Israel fully received the cup of God’s wrath during the Babylonian siege and captivity. Yet even then His wrath was mingled with mercy. To those who were obedient and submitted to Nebuchadnezzar He made them to prosper in Babylon. After 70 years as prophesied by Jeremiah the prophet He brought their captivity to an end and restored Jerusalem and the temple.
OK, so we’ve proven from several biblical examples of judgment that God’s mercy has a limit. In each of these examples we’ve seen God’s judgment is poured out when the limit is reached. However in all of these examples we’ve seen that His wrath was mingled with mercy.
But regarding the end-time, the Bible says very clearly in Revelation chapter 14 as part of the Third Angel’s message: “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name (Revelation 14:9-11). This passage is warning us very ominously that those who take the mark of the beast “shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation”. Without mixture means without mercy.
It’s when we reach the limit that humanity will be faced with the choice of taking the mark of the beast or the seal of God. And I’m going to demonstrate to you today that we have very nearly reached the limit, and that we’re only waiting for one big prophetic event to be fulfilled before we are all faced with that eternal choice.
The Signs of the Times
The Bible tells us in Revelation 12:12 that the devil knows he has but a short time. The question is: do the people of God know that they have but a short time? Sadly, many don’t. But if you’re a student of prophecy you’ve been watching the signs of the times. Jesus instructed us in the parable of the fig tree (Matthew 24:32-35) that just as the fig leaves growing announces the nearness of summer, so the signs of the times announce that Jesus is near, even at the door.
So what are some of the signs of the times that Jesus described in Matthew 24? Matthew 24 is known as the Olivet discourse, when Jesus answered His disciples who were asking Him what would be the signs of His coming and of the end of the world. The very first sign Jesus gave to His disciples was deception. “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matthew 24:4). So the Biblical pattern we mentioned earlier is the blindness of God’s people. The other Biblical pattern announced by Jesus for the end-time is widespread deception. The deception is not only spiritual, but has spilled over into every area of life:
- Our economy is a complete deception – it’s a financial system based on fiat money that in turn is based on debt with no real value backing the currency. Our money is worth nothing. It’s a huge pile of worthless paper with nothing to back it up. Very soon the entire system is going to come crashing down as more and more countries are going bankrupt. Off-Wall Street financial analysts are in agreement that our economy is being propped up. If it weren’t, the whole edifice would have collapsed a long time ago. How long will they continue to prop it up is the question?
- In America, the “American Dream” has become a huge caricature. The U.S. National Debt is 20 Trillion dollars. Unfunded liabilities, such as Social Security and Medicare, are currently 104 Trillion dollars (source: usdebtclock.org). There are about 41 million people receiving food stamps while nearly 14% of Americans live below the ‘official’ poverty threshold. Real unemployment is 23%, bestcase scenario. On average, each household with a credit card carries more than $15,000 in credit card debt, and the average U.S household with debt owes $130,922 (source: time.com).
- Our governments are also a huge deception. The governing elite is absolutely corrupt, with no vestige or veneer of morals, and they’re not who they appear to be. Most national governments have sold out to the New World Order. The majority of the people on this earth are ignorant of the true New World Order agenda. Studies have measured the “ecological footprint” of human beings in developed and developing nations, and have concluded that in a few years the planet won’t be able to support the world population of 7 Billion people. Therefore the globalists want to both reduce the population by 80% from 7 Billion to 2 Billion as well as reduce the ecological footprint of the survivors – that is, how much the survivors consume in terms of natural resources. Those in power would then strictly control the remaining 20% of the population who would be allowed to live on clearly identified territories while the rest of the land is reversed to wildlife. This is no secret or conspiracy theory, but a widely publicized plan called UN Agenda 21 that was later re-conducted into UN Agenda 2030.
- The New World Order intends to implement their plan through mind control (more deception) and the progressive breeding of the new human through a science called trans-humanism. The new human or Humanity 2.0 as it’s called is little more than a robotic, submissive being who performs as programmed.
- In the US, the mainstream media has been exposed to be the greatest deceiver of all. They have abdicated their responsibility to be a free press and have joined the ranks of the powers that be. They have forgotten the noble calling of investigative journalism working to uncover the truth. Mainstream media is a big theater production, the mouthpiece of a corrupt establishment reading the same scripted messaging from their teleprompters. This is why so many Americans and Christians are not aware of the very real dangers about to engulf us. The media keeps them drunk with the wine of celebrity news, reality shows, and other means of mass mind control while failing to report on the truth. On November 8, 2016 the Oxford Dictionary, that great institution of the English language, elected the Word of the Year to be “Post-truth – an adjective defined as ‘relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief’”. The deception pattern is definitely worldwide and not limited to the US.
The Pattern of Transgressions
In one of my previous programs called “Prophecy Update: Crime Against Humanity and Nature” I go back to the Book of Genesis and demonstrate verse by verse how Satan has had a very deliberate strategy to go against every single thing that God established at creation. This is the third Biblical pattern we’re seeing in the end-time. Satan has purposely and methodically gone against God’s established order as described in Genesis 1, 2 and 11 to destroy it. We’re seeing creation unravel thread by thread. The earth is waxing old like a garment (Isaiah 51:6). “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8:22).
So as we enumerate the non-exhaustive catalogue of major transgressions being committed on this earth they point to humanity soon reaching the limit of wickedness. Let me repeat that there’s no accident or randomness here, but a very deliberate attack by God’s adversary the devil to go against the order that God established at creation, every Word God has spoken and every commandment in His holy law. Satan is leading insurrection and rebellion against the Holy One on every front. We’re now going to review some of the major crimes committed against the planet, against mankind, against children and against God’s created order that will help us to realize that we’ve very nearly reached the limit of God’s patience.
Climate engineering also called geo-engineering.
The global ruling elite with the full concurrence of national governments has manipulated the weather as well as the media coverage and therefore public opinion about the weather. It’s a fact that vast, costly programs of climate modification have been rolled out across the world. There’s hardly an island anywhere on the planet where they’re not spraying their devastating chemical trails in the air.
They’ve manipulated the issue in the media to discredit the whistle blowers and make it appear that there’s no crisis. Competent engineers, scientists and researchers are sounding the alarm about the ravaging long-term effects of weather modification on nature and on humans. Some of those damaging effects include increased warming (the exact opposite of what it’s claimed to do), the disruption of the world’s eco-system as they tinker with things like wind and ocean currents, and debilitating illnesses in human beings such as Morgellon’s disease. Climate engineering is an attack against nature by mad scientists and evil governments trying to play God.
CERN:
CERN is a European-based scientific research center headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. CERN built the fastest particle accelerator on earth called the large-hadron-collider. CERN’s experiments have been very controversial due to the high risks involved. There’s a short paragraph about CERN that had appeared in Wikipedia under the heading “Safety Concerns” in August 2007. CERN negotiated with Wikipedia to have this paragraph erased, but it’s still traceable through some internet archives: “As with the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, people both inside and outside of the physics community have voiced concern that the Large Hadron Collider might trigger one of several theoretical disasters capable of destroying the Earth or even our entire Universe. Each advance in particle accelerator technology exposes the stability of the very fabric of the universe to more stringent tests. The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider has been running since 2000 and has generated no major problems; however the Large Hadron Collider is set to create an environment significantly more exotic than realized in the RHIC, and therefore the probability of catastrophe is greater.”
Why do I think that CERN has an evil agenda that goes beyond mad scientists tinkering with the fabric of the universe? Three reasons:
#1: The CERN Logo: The CERN logo features two unraveling circles. The circle is the symbol of perfection and completion. Their logo resembles one true circle and one counterfeit circle, or one circle and its image. Makes me think of the beast and the image of the beast. You can also see 666 in their logo if you color the circles with their tails.
#2: The surreal statue of Shiva at the entrance of CERN: At the entrance to CERN’s headquarters is a huge statue of Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction, donated in 2004 by the Indian government. Shiva represents none other than Satan – he’s the destroyer mentioned in John 10:10. Shiva is shown inside a ring (a circle) performing a cosmic dance between worlds and between dimensions. With the left foot (the left is a symbol of Satan opposing Christ who sits on the right hand of the throne) Shiva is crushing a baby. It’s very apparent to me that no matter what symbolism the Hindu religion attributes to that baby it’s a representation of Christ. Remember in Genesis 3:15, one of the oldest prophecies in the Bible, the Lord said to the serpent: “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel”. Clearly Shiva is bruising the seed of the woman.
#3: The third reason I believe CERN has an evil agenda is because they are working hard to open inter-dimensional portals called star-gates in order to collapse time and space. Their work seeks to destroy the totality of the created order established by God at creation. Some speculate that their goal is to let extraterrestrial or demonic beings in. I disagree. Revelation 12 describes the great battle that took place in heaven when Satan and his fallen angels were cast down to the earth. So all of the demons are already here, there’s nothing evil to let in that isn’t already here. If anything, Satan would be looking for a way to either destroy the entire universe, or possibly to regain access to heaven and the rest of the universe that he lost when he was cast out by Michael the Archangel. God will not allow it, but he’ll try
The LGBT Agenda: Gay Marriage and Transgenderism
This is another evil pattern of going against the created order. On the sixth day of creation God created man in His image and according to His likeness. Let’s read the account in Genesis 1 starting in verse 26:
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. … And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day”.
The Lord created them male and female, and ordered them to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and have dominion over it. Clearly it was God’s intention that man and woman were to be joined in order to reproduce and fill the earth.
There’s the important Bible principle of repetition that’s at play here: anything that’s really important the Lord will repeat at least once and generally more than once. We read in Matthew 18:16 that “in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established”. This truth is repeated in Deuteronomy 19:15: “One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established”. Therefore the Lord Himself applies this principle in His word and for truths of great importance we can find three witnesses in the Bible, meaning that they’ll be repeated three times.
The reason I bring this up is because when it comes to gender, the Lord gives us this truth no less than four times in the holy scriptures! We just read in Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”. He says it again in Genesis 5:2, Matthew 19:4 and Mark 10:6. Do you think this is an accident? It’s no accident. God knew the end from the beginning. He knew what was to come. The companion bible verse to this one is Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”. Guess what? This verse is also given four times In the Bible: in addition to Genesis 2:24 it also appears in Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7, and Ephesians 5:31. Still think it’s just a coincidence? What if I told you that each verse follows an identical pattern: it’s given twice in the Old Testament and twice in the New Testament. Trust me, the Lord didn’t repeat it because He’d forgotten what He’d said. No, the Lord knew this pillar of the created order would be tampered with. He wanted us to know how seriously He takes the established gender of every human being and the ordinance of marriage.
What’s really behind the LGBT Agenda, which by the way stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender? The answer is the New World Order. The LGBT Agenda has several aspects:
#1: Population reduction: We already mentioned that the global ruling elite wants to reduce the world population. The LGBT agenda supports the New World Order population control strategy because gay couples can’t reproduce.
#2: Disannulment of God’s marriage ordinance between a man and a woman. In June of 2015 the Supreme Court of the US ruled that gay couples had the right to marriage nationwide. This was a huge victory for the LGBT Movement that rose to political prominence with the Obama Administration.
The Bible is very clear that same sex intercourse is very displeasing to the Lord. In fact, He calls it an abomination (Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13). Therefore gay marriage is a counterfeit of and a direct attack against the institution of true marriage that God established in the Garden of Eden at creation.
#3: Crossing over the established order of the two genders, male and female. The LGBT movement blurs the line between male and female and supports the crossing over from one gender to the other through transgenderism. This is instantiated through celebrity transgender role models like Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner. The crossing of gender lines is also enacted in the rules associated with bathrooms in public schools where you choose which bathroom you go to depending on how you feel. Children today are totally confused about their gender. In fact, public schools in California give flyers to the parents instructing them not to tell their sons to “act like a man” or to tell their daughters to “act like a lady” because they shouldn’t influence their gender “choice” in any way.
In July of 2016 California became the first state to teach the LGBT curriculum to second graders as part of a new history and social studies curriculum. You heard me right, second graders! According to Fox News (May 5, 2015): “Emphasis will be placed on an understanding that there is a broader, boundless, and fluid spectrum of sexuality that is developed throughout a lifetime” … So instead of teaching children about the sexual polarities of male and female, they’re taught that sexuality is a spectrum. What an insidious way of inculcating gay and trans-sexual inclincations and behaviors in very young children.
#4: The feminization of the species. Masculinity and the male gender are under attack. Masculinity is neutralized not only through cultural indoctrination, but also through the deliberate introduction of feminine estrogen hormones and anti-testosterone chemicals in food, water and other objects around us.
Fluoride and other chemicals block or weaken testosterone. They’re changing men’s sexual inclination and making them gay so they won’t reproduce. They’re lowering the birth rate through the increase of infertility and impotence. These endocrine-disrupting chemicals are used in pesticides, plastics, cosmetics, toothpaste, hair care products, soaps, canned foods, beer, GMO foods … they’re everywhere including the water supply.
There are other feminizing anti-testosterone chemicals found in fast food, pizza boxes and the wrappers of fast foods. Even stain resistant carpets and Teflon non-stick pans also have these chemicals.
None of this is happening by accident. It’s all part of a concerted agenda to neutralize masculinity and feminize men. The other goal of this social engineering is to disarm the population through the loss of the protector male. And why would they want to neutralize the protector male? So that the population is defenseless against and submissive to New World Order control.
In all of this the people responsible for this evil are once again subverting the created order, whereby God created them male and female.
Pedophilia and child sacrifice
The most heinous crimes of all are those committed against children. In the last few weeks the alternative media has been shining the spotlight on the pedophilia that’s rampant in high places, including global child trafficking networks and the sacrifice of children in satanic rituals. Every year 8 million children disappear across the world, of which 800 000 in the United States. There are two questions we need to ask ourselves concerning pedophilia:
#1: Why does the devil work so hard to instigate people to commit this horrendous crime? We find the answer in Matthew 18:6 in the words of Jesus: “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea”. Satan wants mankind bound in transgression and abominations. The bigger the crime, the better: what worse than to offend God by hurting children? There’s currently a PR campaign to give pedophilia a good name by calling it a disorder instead of a crime. No, pedophilia is an abomination in the eyes of God. Pedophilia is a cruel sexual aggression against children who are innocent and defenseless. And it often culminates in their sacrifice to counterfeit deities that are actually high-ranking demons and include Satan himself.
#2: Why is pedophilia often associated with power in high places? Again let’s go to the Bible for the answer. Let’s read in Luke Chapter 4 about the temptation of Jesus in the desert: “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Luke 4:5-8).
The devil makes it very clear that whoever wants to receive from him the kingdoms of this world and the glory and power of them must worship him. And how does Satan require worship? Through human sacrifice, preferably of children. This is biblical. There are 9 Bible passages that mention the counterfeit god Molech, the abomination of the Ammonites, to whom the Israelis offered up their children to be burned as a sacrifice. We find those verses in the Book of Leviticus (18:21, 20:2-5), in 1st. and 2nd. Kings (1 Kings 11:7 and 2 Kings 23:10), and in the Book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 32:35). In Jeremiah 32:35 the Lord calls this practice an abomination: “And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin”. In the following verse the Lord connects this practice of child sacrifice with the kings, priests and prophets of Israel, which in the Jewish theocracy were all individuals of high ranking.
And there’s a passage in the Book of Amos Chapters 5 and 6 that provides even more conclusive evidence that the practice of child sacrifice was associated with people in high places. “Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, whose name is The God of hosts. Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came! (Amos 5:25-27, Amos 6:1)…. And the Lord proceeds to describe this class of people that are at ease, that drink wine, eat good meat and make music like King David did. And then the Lord says in Amos 6:8: “The Lord God hath sworn by himself, saith the Lord the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein”. “The excellency of Jacob” is another name for the ruling class of Israel.
The bottom line with child sacrifice is that the devil requires pedophilia and child sacrifice of those whom he positions in the high places of his kingdom and nations.
The Bible predicted that the time would come when all secrets would be revealed. God gave us three witnesses to assure us that every word will be established: Luke 8:17, Luke 12:3 and Matthew 10:26. “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops” (Luke 12:2-3). The time is fulfilled. All the dark secrets of the kings of the nations, “the excellency of Jacob”, are exposed to the light and they’re very filthy. When the kings of the nations engage in this kind of evil, you know that judgment is imminent as was the case for Israel.
Spiritualism, Paganism, Witchcraft and Outright Satanism
We’ve seen the rise of spiritualism, paganism and goddess worship all over the planet, and of satanism in America. From Harry Potter to Lord of the Rings to the countless spiritualistic or psychic TV shows, our culture and entertainment are inundated with counterfeit spirituality. Let’s be clear on one point – ALL counterfeit spirituality is demonic. Period. No exceptions. There is only one true God, the God of Israel: the divine, perfect and loving being who is our Creator and the King of all Creation. Anything else called by any other name (whether it’s called magic, the force, the universe or any other name) is from the kingdom of darkness. These influences have continued to rise over the past few decades and today Wicca is the fastest-growing pagan religion in the United States.
Overt satanism is rampant in America with openly satanic cults and the unveiling of a massive Baphomet statue in Detroit in July of 2015. Baphomet is a goat that represents Satan. Sometimes it’s depicted with wings, sometimes with female breasts. It holds up the index and middle finger of the right hand exactly like the statue of St. Peter in the Vatican. (Of course we know it wasn’t originally a statue of St. Peter but of the Roman god Jupiter that was rededicated to St. Peter to appeal to the expanding Christian church).
But this rising evil phenomenon isn’t restricted to the US. In June of 2016 the Swiss inaugurated the world’s longest and deepest railway station in Gotthard, Switzerland, not too far from Geneva where CERN is. The Huffington Post described the event in this headline: “The World’s Longest Rail Tunnel Opens In The Weirdest Way Imaginable”. The inauguration ceremony was actually a pagan ritualistic dance that appeared to be an evil enactment of the Book of Revelation. According to the Huffington Post: “The whole spectacle left many people on Twitter both amused and confused”. One viewer tweeted: “The opening ceremony show for the new Gotthard tunnel is embarrassing. As a Swiss citizen, I apologize”. As the messenger angel told Daniel in Daniel 12:10: “… and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand”.
In addition to the in-your-face illuminati control of the entertainment industry, the latest nauseating flaunting of evil that we’re seeing is the so-called Spirit Cooking. An internet blogger and author had this to say about spirit cooking, which I find very accurate and also applies to the illuminati: “Occult symbolism, as I’ve reported on extensively, is done openly to taunt the public. It’s a form of power and control. Secret Societies do not want to remain secret”. Well said.
Undoubtedly the most surprising appearance of occultism this year-end was the front cover of the influential publication The Economist. They just released their traditional end of year edition where they predict the events of the coming year. The 2017 edition is presented in a very occultic fashion: A tarot deck modified with cryptic symbols. The spiritual warfare is blatant.
The Crumbling Pillars of Freedom
We talked earlier about the lack of credibility of mainstream media. Now mainstream media is unleashing relentless persecution against the alternative media that does report on the truth. The alternative press relies on the Internet to reach its audience, and the current US President has been trying very hard to control or censor the Internet. Well, he certainly found the best way to do it! On October 1st. 2016 President Obama handed over control of the Internet governing body, called the ICANN (which stands for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) to the United Nations. Previously the ICANN was run by the United States and had managed to preserve a fairly free Internet. Now we can all look forward to censorship China-style.
The alternative press is being accused of being “fake news” and thus deserving to be censored out. Google and Facebook have committed to cooperate in the filtering out of so-called fake news. On Dec. 12, 2016 Congress quietly passed a Disinformation and Propaganda Act that will restrict the freedom of the press and allow the government to effectively shut down any website or media forum that disagrees with its policies. Just as quietly, President Obama signed this act late on Christmas Eve while America was distracted with the holidays. This anti-free-speech act is now law. Welcome back McCarthy!
Why do we Christians care about this? Let me use a biblical analogy and you’ll understand why we care. The Bible says in James 2:10 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all”. This means that if you take away any one pillar of God’s Ten Commandments the whole edifice crumbles, because they’re all inter-related. You can’t isolate one commandment from another, they’re a whole. The same is true for our US constitutional rights. If you remove one you’ve removed them all. Once the precedent is set for removing free speech and a free press through censorship of the alternative media because they express a different view, then all of our other constitutional rights can equally be taken away: freedom of religion, the right to assemble peacefully, the right to protect ourselves and the right to be secure in our persons without unwarranted searches and seizures.
We’re on a very slippery slope right now. Who will be next?
US and Globalism
The recent US elections have left the country shaken by the surprise victory of Donald Trump. What was really on the table in these elections was globalism vs. nationalism.
One evening shortly after the Nov. 8 elections I was visiting with relatives and the touchy subject of the elections came up. Their only source of information is the mainstream media so in their perception the election was all about race and gender issues. When I explained that the real issue was globalism vs. nationalism, my cousin’s wife asked: “What’s wrong with globalism? Globalism is good. What’s wrong with a world without borders?” I tried to explain the dangers of the New World Order but I wasn’t satisfied with the explanation I gave on the spot because it wasn’t biblical. So I want to frame it in biblical terms for you today:
The New World Order and the globalist agenda actually go against God’s established order. In the Book of Acts 17:26 the Apostle Paul is preaching to the Athenians about the Lord, and He says: “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation”. So God made all nations of one blood, He has determined for how long the nations shall exist, and has determined their boundaries or frontiers. Why did God determine frontiers among nations?
Let me take you back to the Book of Genesis for the answer. We’re now going to identify another pattern of evil: the Tower of Babel pattern. In Genesis Chapter 11 we read about the Tower of Babel that was erected after the flood. “And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech” (Genesis 11:1) … “And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth” (Genesis 11:4). This verse is the key to understanding the dynamics that were going on. The builders of the Tower of Babel wanted to challenge God:
- First they didn’t believe His word that He would never again punish the world by a flood.
- Second they wanted to challenge God if He did and be able to take shelter in heaven where the water couldn’t reach them.
- Third they wanted to make a name for themselves, they wanted fame: a sign of pride and arrogance.
- Fourth they understood the power of unity and didn’t want to be scattered or they would lose their power.
Already in Genesis 6:4-5 before the flood, the Lord talks about the “mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”. Men who seek to make a name for themselves are associated with wickedness and evil imaginations in their hearts. In fact, Nimrod “the mighty hunter before God” mentioned in Genesis 10 is the father of the Tower of Babel. Sodom and Gomorrah was settled by his descendants. The name Nimrod means rebellious. In the verse “mighty hunter before God” the word “before” actually means that Nimrod stood up against God, in defiance of God. So the seed of Babel is rebellion.
Let’s pick up the Tower of Babel story again: “And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth” (Genesis 11:5-9).
This is the biblical root cause of the separation and the boundaries that exist among nations. It’s not God’s will that the nations should combine into one global entity. Why? Because as happened in the Tower of Babel, when men band together they have an evil purpose: to do evil and rebel against God’s law. This is exactly what we’re seeing with the New World Order and its globalist agenda. It comes from an evil, rebellious seed. It can’t and won’t bear good fruit. Their main agenda is the eradication of most of mankind and the strict control of the survivors.
One World Religion and the Mark of the Beast
We now come to the convergence of all the spiritual warfare and all the evil patterns we studied so far:
- The pattern of judgment when man crosses the line of God’s forbearance
- The pattern of deception that Jesus warned us against, and which only the truth of God’s Word can preserve us from
- The pattern of coming against every tenet of God’s order as established at creation
- The globalist pattern of the Tower of Babel, which hadn’t been seen on earth since the days right after the flood
On the heels of the globalist New World Order is its counterpart, One World Religion. Ultimately this is where everything is leading – this is where all the dots connect. The deception of Sunday worship is the final affront against God’s created order, erected in defiance of God’s holy Sabbath instituted at creation. When the beast or anti-christ power unites all believers to worship on the day of the sun the cup of God’s indignation will be full and will trigger the final judgment of the living.
Let’s go to the Book of Revelation Chapter 13 to understand how the Sunday Law will be instantiated and which power will catalyze the revival of the beast, also called the anti-christ power “who thought to change times and laws” according to Daniel 7:25. “Power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7). Remember these words. This is the last evil pattern the world will experience: a pattern of despotic, persecuting spiritual tyranny that had already overcome the saints during the Middle Ages.
Revelation 13 is a very deep passage of scripture that deserves an entire bible study on its own. I’ll just decrypt and simplify for you some of the main points:
A beast in prophecy refers to a nation or kingdom. The first beast power described in Revelation 13 (and some additional details are given in Revelation 17) is the papacy, whose number is 666 and who sits on the city of seven hills, Rome. The papal power is affiliated with Babylon that descends from the Tower of Babel we discussed earlier. The dragon, Satan, gives the beast his power and his seat and great authority. “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them; and power was given him over all kindreds and tongues and nations” (Revelation 13:7).
Now another beast is presented in Revelation 13 that will turn out to be just as important in the fulfillment of endtime prophecy as the first beast.
The second beast is the United States of America. It’s portrayed as a beast that came out of the earth (meaning that it emerged in a sparsely populated region) having horns like a lamb (meaning that it appears to be a Christian nation) but it speaks like a dragon (meaning that it issues decrees that go against Christianity and exercises the same type of persecution and control of the first beast which is the Vatican). According to Bible commentator Matthew Henry whom I’ll quote loosely “the second beast – the US – “pursues the same design, to draw men from worshipping the true God, and to subject the souls of men to the will and control of men … by lying wonders, pretended miracles, and by severe censures”. The US beast carries out the agenda of the first beast, the papacy, “also by allowing none to enjoy natural or civil rights, who will not worship that beast …”.
Remember what we said earlier about the first beast’s power: it had received its power, its seat and its authority from the dragon himself, and it was given power over all kindreds and tongues and nations. Well, soon we’ll be able to say the same of the United States, because we read in Revelation 13:12: “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed”.
The US, the second beast, will be the power behind the image of the beast that in Revelation 19 is called the false prophet. The image of the beast or the false prophet is the US-based Protestant Christianity that will form an alliance with the papacy. This alliance between Catholics and Protestants will result in the enforcement of Sunday worship by law. Sunday worship is a product of the Catholic Church. Here’s some evidence provided by the Catholic Church itself in their own words.
- “It was the holy Catholic Church that changed the day of rest from Saturday, the seventh day, to Sunday, the first day of the week.” – T. Enright, C.S.S.R., in a lecture delivered in 1893.
- ”Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.” C. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath, November 11, 1895.
- “Sunday is a Catholic institution, and… can be defended only on Catholic principles…. From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first.” Catholic Press, Aug. 25, 1900
Let’s go back for a moment to the words of Jesus : “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” (Mark 12:17 and Matthew 22:21). These words condense very elegantly God’s position on church and state: church and state should always be separate. The union of church and state is displeasing to God, because as Jesus said “My Kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). The only thing the government should say about religion is that it’s every citizen’s total freedom and their own business if and who and how and when they worship. Anything beyond that is overstepping God’s boundary. And whenever the church unites with government to legislate anything having to do with religion other than complete freedom of religion always results in terrible persecution and religious tyranny.
When the civil power enforces Sunday worship by law it becomes the mark of the beast. This will be known as the Sunday Law. Sunday observance will be a requirement for buying or selling. Anyone who refuses to worship on Sunday – and therefore refuses to take the mark of the beast – will not be able to buy or sell. This will become a very serious problem that is just ahead of us.
The US has been speaking like a dragon for a few years now, enacting policies and passing laws that violate the word and the law of God as well as the spirit of freedom that defined this country at its origin. And the papacy – which is the beast or anti-christ – has positioned itself to lead One World Religion under the umbrella of Rome. The beast’s deadly wound is almost healed and the whole world wonders after the beast (Revelation 13:3).
How exactly will the US devolve power to the Vatican is yet to be seen. As I think about some of the things happening right now in the world – the Brexit move of the United Kingdom to exit the EU, the victory against the euro in the Greek referendum, the result of the more recent Italian referendum, and Donald Trump’s victory in the US – they all seem to signal a rejection of globalism and a move back toward nationalism. Maybe it’ll be the humongous US debt that will bring the Vatican in as the rescuer in exchange for political power. We’ll have to continue to observe how things unfold.
The Sunday law will open the last act in the drama of end-time prophetic events. However, some dire event or series of events needs to happen to trigger or invoke the passing of this law: a natural disaster, an economic collapse, a nuclear catastrophe, or civil and political unrest, or all of the above. Once the Sunday law is passed, all mankind will be confronted with the choice of taking the mark of the beast (Sunday worship) or the seal of God (Sabbath worship).
Those who take the mark of the beast will prosper until the last seven plagues start to fall. They’ll receive eternal damnation and will be punished without mercy. Those who remain faithful to God by refusing the false worship and choose instead the Sabbath seal of God as instructed in the Bible will experience tribulation – great tribulation – but ultimately will receive their crown of glory.
The judgment of God’s people has already started in heaven with the judgment of the righteous dead or the dead in the Lord. The mark of the beast is a test that will seal the eternal fate of all the living, for salvation or for damnation. This test is imminent for all of us Christians.
The Sunday Law event will be the last major prophetic event to happen before the last seven plagues are released and Jesus returns to take His people home and visit judgment on the wicked. By the Sunday Law humanity crosses the limit and invokes the full wrath of God without mixture (Revelation 16). By the lengthy catalog of serious transgressions that we discussed earlier, we know we’re almost there.
“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice” (Psalm 50:3-5).
How do we prepare?
The first thing we need to do is to wake up. If we’re asleep we can’t do anything.
The second thing we need to do is to seek understanding. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7). This is critical because in both Revelation 13 and 17, two Bible chapters centered on the end-time beast, the Lord exhorts us to seek wisdom and understanding so that we won’t be deceived as to the identity of the beast power: “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six” (Revelation 13:18). “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth” (Revelation 17:9).
The third thing is to understand that judgment is imminent. In the Books of Jeremiah and Ezekiel the Lord said that He would punish Israel by the sword, by the famine and by the pestilence. This means He dispenses judgment through war, through hunger and through disease. And this judgment is different from previous judgments because we’re in the time of the end. We’re fast approaching the final judgment, and there’s but a short time to prepare ourselves spiritually to meet our God.
Last but not least: The most important preparation of all is to be in right standing before God and to repent of every sin: “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2). Get baptized if you’ve never been baptized by immersion. Surrender every area of your life to Jesus. Hold nothing back, but yield to Him your temple, time, talent and treasure. There will be a day of reckoning. When our names are called in heaven we’ll have to account for how we invested what the Lord gave us.
The Lord instructs us in Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man”. Pray for the eye salve that will cure us of our Laodicean blindness that we may see and therefore not be taken by surprise. We need to live in constant prayer that we may be found worthy, and how hard this is to do when we have busy jobs and full lives! We need to help each other by congregating often, coming together in unity and love for God and praying for each other and for God’s church, the whole body of Christ. Have frequent touch points during your day at work or in school when you check in with the Lord, even if it’s only for a brief prayer. That will help keep your mind on heavenly things. Witnessing to others will rekindle your fire like nothing else can!
The purpose of the Plan of Redemption is to restore in us the full image and likeness of God. Ever since the Garden of Eden Satan has worked relentlessly to destroy it. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Jesus in us is the hope of glory and the assurance of salvation (Colossians 1:27).
“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (Isaiah 26:20-21)
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:12-14).
May the Lord give us the anointing of the sons of Issachar, that we may have an understanding of the times to know what spiritual Israel ought to do.
