Questions and Answers – Podcast Episode no. 6 – Law and Grace

Angel, those are such great questions.  I know many of our listeners are wondering about that.  These are such important questions that we’re going to devote our next podcast entirely to the Sabbath.

But in the meantime, let me give you some quick answers that we’ll be able to discuss at greater length in our next show.

Does God expect us to still keep the Sabbath?

Yes, God very much expects us to keep His Sabbath holy.  It’s one of those Ten Commandments, immutable, non-negotiable, and there’s no dispensation from it.  The observance of the Sabbath is to worship the Creator, who created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day.  The Lord Himself kept the Sabbath rest and Jesus called Himself “the Lord of the Sabbath”.  There’s nothing obsolete about the Sabbath, quite the contrary.  In Revelation 14:7 talking about things yet to come, this is the message of the first angel who flies across the heaven:  “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

006 – Law and Grace

shutterstock_Ten Commandments small

This podcast deals with the issues related to Divine Law. Marla Ilona demonstrates that God’s Law is an expression of His perfect character. She disproves the false teaching that God’s Law is abolished and “nailed to the cross” by explaining from scripture the difference between the Divine Law and the Mosaic Law. The Ark of the Covenant that contains God’s Law plays a big role in the Book of Revelation, because the end time issue will be centered around right worship as prescribed in God’s Holy Law. If you ever said to yourself “I’m not under the law I’m under grace”, you need to listen to this! Every Christian who loves Jesus needs to obey the Law out of love for the Law-giver.

In today’s program we’re going to be discussing a fascinating and extremely important topic that many Christians are confused about.  It’s incredible how many inaccurate teachings there are within the Church on this subject.  Many Christians believe, and rightly so, that we are saved by grace, by our faith in Jesus Christ.  However, that doesn’t mean that God’s Law is now obsolete and doesn’t need … Continue reading

Q & A Podcast Episode No. 5 – Building a deeper relationship with God

Q:  Marla, what can we do to deepen our relationship with God?

A:  Angel, that’s a great question because that is what God longs for.  You’re right that He calls many of His children through pain and suffering, because sometimes that’s the only way we’ll get on our knees and come to Him.   Since He is the love of our souls, we share the same longing to be close to Him, but many people never become aware that the longing for God is what drives their constant striving and seeking.  So they muffle that inner calling, that spiritual hunger that all human beings have and they try to replace it with all manner of substitutes:  addictions, promiscuity, workaholism, and also as we said spiritualism and the counterfeit gods and false religions of our day.  Human beings were created to worship, and we will fill that void of an authentic worship experience with something else.

So to answer your question, the most important thing is to make sure that we are in the right relationship.  Is the God we are worshipping the Only True Real and Living God, the God of Israel?  There’s so much deceit today, it’s very hard for … Continue reading

005 – Who God Is and Isn’t and the Power of His Name

Powerful rectification of all the New Age false teachings about God and a beautiful study of the power of His Name. Marla Ilona examines several of the false beliefs about the nature of God and studies the mystery of His true nature. We go to the scriptural root cause to understand why Satan doesn’t want us to know the true character and attributes of God. Beautiful prayer based on the Names of God.

This show is on who God really is and the power of His Name.  This seems a no-brainer, of course we think we know who God is.  But the reality is that this is a confused generation.  Because our societies are so secular and we’ve pushed God out of our governments, our schools, and in many cases even out of our churches (mercy), many people don’t really know who God is.  In addition, Eastern and pagan spiritual influences have penetrated our Western Christian societies and have even crept into the Church.  So our knowledge of God is weakened and out of focus, which is a dangerous … Continue reading
